With a population of only 3,505* everyone really does know your name. Woodstown has a very "Smalltown, U.S.A." feel - a place where the towns people "the Woodstonians" actually do all come out of their homes to line the curbs and lawns along Main Street for the town's annual 4th of July Parade & Fireworks Display.
Woodstown's downtown shopping district on Main Street offers several unique shops, mom and pop restaurants and lovely historic homes, many of which can be visited during Woodstown's candlelight tour, Woodstown By Candlelight, held annually the first Friday in December.
Just outside of town, the Cowtown Flea Market is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays year round and the famous Cowtown Rodeo is held each Saturday night from the end of May through the end of September.
Auburn Road Vineyards & Winery is another favorite just outside of town, offering food, music and a place to gather for meetings or just to meet with friends. "The Enoteca," Auburn Road's Italian-style wine bar, serves Auburn Road's award-winning wines and is the perfect place to enjoy the day.
The Salem County Fairgrounds are home to the annual Salem County Fair and the annual Giant Pumpkin Carve.
Each year, on the last Saturday in September, scarecrows line up along Main Street and Route 40, eagerly awaiting Woodstown's official harvest celebration, the annual Woodstown Fall Festival.
